John Jefferson appointed as Non-executive Director

Western Thermal, leading specialist engineers in thermal & acoustic insulation, ventilation ductwork, trace heating, and fire stopping, with over thirty years’ experience, announces that it has appointed John Jefferson as a Non-executive Director of the Company. John, a construction industry professional with more than 30 years’ commercial experience, has several years’ experience as a Director within the industry.

Before joining Western Thermal, John spent the previous 12 years as Commercial Director at leading firms including Balfour Kilpatrick, Balfour Beatty, and Border Associates. His specialisms include the mechanical, electrical, energy, utility, data and process sectors of the construction industry. John was educated at Leeds Beckett University, from which he went on to become a Quantity Surveyor at Shepherd Engineering Services, DG Jones & Partners and Haden Young, and then on to be a Commercial Manager at Schofield Lothian. Alongside this, John has also acted as an advisor to many specialist subcontractor companies.
