Ystrad Fawr Hospital
Western Thermal has been appointed to undertake the insulation work at Ystrad Fawr Hospital. The £172m Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr in the Rhymney Valley will be the first UK hospital providing single rooms for every patient, and will be one of a generation of new facilities serving the Valley regions in Gwent and the old Mid Glamorgan areas.
The 255-bed hospital, which will have a television in every room, will serve the 170,000 population of the Caerphilly borough district.
The project is due for completion by the end of 2011.
