Western Thermal's labour force is a mix of self and directly employed with over 50% of these being engaged with the Company for over 20 years. This continuity of labour force ensures quality of workmanship, good safety practice and first class industrial relations.
Western Thermal is a member of the Thermal Insulation Contractors Association, and through its membership has developed working relationships with all associated trade unions. The Company is proud that they have never been involved with an industrial dispute.

Western Thermal is aware that the average age of the craft engineer is increasing to this end we have committed to increasing the number of apprentices in the industry. The Company also maintains a wide range of Health and Safety training for all its staff and operatives to ensure that they are able to meet the commitments of the customer.
Western Thermal is committed to the M.C.G. incentive to ensure that all site based staff hold a CSCS skill card.

We have been working hard to secure new contracts at Western Thermal. Here is a list of some of the work we have recently secured.
20 Fenchurch Street London
Manchester Town Hall and Circular Library Western Thermal Ltd has secured the insulation contract on this £130 million redevelopment project of two 1930s buildings in the heart of Manchester. Insulation works on this £100 million 320,000 square foot data facility for Santander are currently underway. The two identical centres are currently under construction near the village of Narborough.
